Duration: March 2019 – December 2021
Description: This project aims at measuring the rate of Ocean Acidification (OA) and changes in marine carbonate chemistry in Seychelles and to expand our observations to the WIO region in collaboration with our partners. Another goal of this project is to test the effects of climate change on relevant marine organisms in multi-stressor scenarii. Through this proposal we propose to build BERI’s and UniSey’s capacity to monitor, understand and report on the ongoing impacts of Ocean Acidification.
Funding body: WIOMSA
